Wi-Fi

There is good quality Wi-Fi throughout Blinkwater. This gives you the opportunity to do your digital work in peaceful surroundings.

Braai Stands and Shared Braai Area

There are mobile braai stands at each campsite. Bring your own griller. 
There is also a built-in braai area with fire pits, sinks and seating just beyond campsites 1-14. This braai area can be reserved for the exclusive use of your party at a cost of R200 per day. 

Water quality

The water supplied to the bathroom and washup areas comes from a borehole. 
The water in the river may be contaminated by domestic use and wildlife. It is safe to swim in the river but do not use it for drinking water. 

Self-Catering

Blinkwater is completely self-catering with no food shops or restaurants on the premises. There are supermarkets such as Spar and Checkers in Citrusdal 10 km away. There are a few restaurants and fast-food outlets in and around Citrusdal. 

Cellphone Reception

There is poor cell phone reception at Blinkwater.

Ablutions

Each campsite has easy access to one of two ablution blocks. Each ablution block has several doors which open onto either a private toilet with a basin or a private complete bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet. The ablutions are cleaned daily by Blinkwater staff but you are asked to please leave the bathroom and toilets clean and tidy for the next user. 

Washup Areas

For your convenience, there are kitchen sinks for dish washing adjoined to the ablution blocks. Please leave these areas clean and tidy after use.

Rubbish

Each campsite has a rubbish bin for items you want to throw away. These are emptied regularly by Blinkwater staff. 

Ice and Firewood

Ice and firewood are sold by Blinkwater staff. They will come to your campsite to ask whether you need either. Payment is in cash or by card.
